This is what one resident found on her front door when she moved into the Parkside! Who put it there? Her sister, who lives at the Parkside as well, placed it on her door as a housewarming gift. Both she and her sister truly feel that the Parkside is their happy place!
The Parkside of Morton can be your “Happy Place” too!
Is your mouth watering? This is the garden bounty one of our residents shares with everyone at the Parkside. This gentleman farmer goes to the family farm almost daily during the growing season. He plants in the spring, tends to the garden all summer, and then brings in the bountiful harvest. Not only will you see fruits and vegetables, but sometimes flowers too. What a treat to pick out this scrumptious fruit! The hassle free living at the Parkside allows him the time and energy to engage in the hobbies he enjoys!
If you don’t have a family farm, no problem! The Parkside offers garden plots just west of the building. A greenhouse is available as well, for those plants that need to come in for the winter.
On May 8, 2019, a large motor coach bus pulled up to front of the Parkside of Morton. The bus was transporting 45 visitors to all the “Morton area living, care and exercise options for the golden years.”
Participants got to tour the Parkside’s common areas and two of the units. Several Parkside residents assisting in giving tours and were excited to tell the participants about all the wonderful reasons why the Parkside is the premier place to live in Morton!
The newly remodeled private dining suite, at the Parkside, is the perfect setting for an intimate meal with friends and family. The residents of the Parkside enjoy their time in the private dining suite with natural sunlight streaming in the window and lovely updated carpet and beautiful wall art. The wall art was created by a local graphic designer and adds that special touch.
